PMI (Project Management Institute) started nomination for professional award 2011. The last date to apply for many professional award are 1 April 2011 and last date to apply for “Project of the Year award” are 1 March 2011.

You may visit the PMI.org for each award criteria, Application requirement and application procedure.

While you may submit nomination for the 2011 PMI Eric Jenett Project Management Excellence Award and PMI Distinguished Project Awards anytime during the year.

The awards categories are:

• Honor Project Professionals
• Honor Organizations for Successful and Innovative Projects
• Honor Project Management Researchers and Educators
• Honor Project Management Literature Authors

List of Padma Award Winners 2010

 

Padma Awards, namely, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri are given for exceptional and distinguished service in any field including service rendered by Government servants. The recommendations for Padma Awards are received from the State Governments/Union Territory Administrations, Central Ministries/Departments, Institutions of Excellence, etc. which are considered by an Awards Committee. On the basis of the recommendations of the Awards Committee, and after approval of the Home Minister, Prime Minister and President, the Padma Awards are announced on the eve of the Republic Day.
