PMI (Project Management Institute) started nomination for professional award 2011. The last date to apply for many professional award are 1 April 2011 and last date to apply for “Project of the Year award” are 1 March 2011.

While you may submit nomination for the 2011 PMI Eric Jenett Project Management Excellence Award and PMI Distinguished Project Awards anytime during the year.
The awards categories are:
- Honor Project Professionals
- Honor Organizations for Successful and Innovative Projects
- Honor Project Management Researchers and Educators
- Honor Project Management Literature Authors
